The Buffalo Police Accident investigation Unit is on location of a accident involving a Buffalo Police officer.
Buffalo police are on scene at this hour of an officer involved accident.
The incident occurred around 10pm near the intersection of Best Street and Sweeney. It appears an officer was out of his vehicle, assisting on an abandoned vehicle call, when the officer was struck by another vehicle. The officer was transported to ECMC with multiple injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
