A Lancaster woman now admits she stole money from the Lancaster Central School District to pay her bills.

Rhonda Greco, 47, pleaded guilty Wednesday in State Supreme Court to grand larceny and falsifying business records.

While working in the accounts payable department for Lancaster schools, Greco used the district's checking account on 10 separate occasions to pay her personal bills for NYSEG, National Fuel and Verizon.

She resigned after the district confronted her about the money, which prosecutors say was taken from October 2014 through September 2015.

As part of her plea, Greco must pay back the $3,461.71 she stole from taxpayers.

She faces up to seven years in prison when she is sentenced August 1st.
