Former deputy to pay $504 for deadly crash
TOWN OF CAMBRIA, N.Y. (WKBW) - James Bissell, a former Niagara County Sheriff's deputy, has been ordered to pay $504 in fines for a deadly crash in 2015.
Bissell pleaded guilty to three traffic violations Tuesday night.
Prosecutors say the former deputy ran a stop sign at the intersection of Route 104 and 93 in the Town of Cambria last October, colliding with an SUV.
Inside the SUV was a married couple. Glenn Annalora was killed and his wife Mary was seriously injured.
Bissell pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless driving earlier this year.
The Annalora family plans to file civil court against Bissell.
