Firefighters in Cheektowaga were called to a fire on Aris Avenue, overnight Thursday. This is between Parker Street and William Street.
When the first responding crews arrived, about 2:45 a.m., additional resources were called in from other areas to help fight the fire.
Flames were seen burning through the roof of the house.
Cheektowaga dispatchers say this house was vacant.
It's unclear if anyone was hurt.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
