UPDATE: Terri Remsen tells us the Bills football has been found. It rolled under an off duty Hamburg police officers car and is being returned to Remsen's son.

Original story: A local mother is issuing a desperate plea to Western New York -- she needs help finding a treasured family collectable.

Terri Remsen posted on Facebook yesterday after realizing her son's Buffalo Bills autographed football was missing. She believes the football rolled out of the family's SUV while they were loading equipment after a lacrosse game at Hamburg High School. That would've been around 6:20 p.m. Remsen says they only made one other stop before the game at Kwik Fill in Ellicottville, N.Y. around 4 p.m.

Remsen says her two sons have been collecting Bills signatures on two different footballs since 2011. The balls have been to Jim Kelly Football camps, Bills training camps, and player meet and greets. The boys had the footballs with them because they were planning to stop at Outback Steak House in Blasdell, N.Y. to collect Jordan Poyer's signature.

Remsen says the realized the football was missing when they arrived at Outback Steak House and looked for the ball.

In her facebook post, Remsen said she's "putting a lot of trust in humanity" to get this ball back to her son.

"Bills Mafia help get his football back to him! If anyone has any information please contact me, Remsen said, "I have one sad Buffalo Bills fan on my hands!"
