Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - There is no question that the Buffalo waterfront is rapidly evolving. Some may question the speed at which the process is taking place, but the updates and improvements seen in the last few years have begun a transformation, turning our former industrial waterfront into a destination for recreation and entertainment.
One of the Outer Harbor pioneers, Tucker Curtin, gave us Dug's Dive, a fun-in-the-sun waterfront eatery, several years ago. Curtin is at it again with Woody's Beach Club and Taqueria, a unique addition to Woodlawn Beach, Blasdell's sandy lakeside hotspot.
Crafted from driftwood and located directly on the beach, Woody's offers visitors the opportunity to catch some rays while simultaneously enjoying tasty tacos and refreshing drinks. Buffalo Spree magazine's food editor, Christa Glennie Seychew, takes our Eyewitness News team for a visit to this little piece of paradise, open to the public until Labor Day.
