Is Vine the New Instagram?

We all know about Instagram, the popular photo sharing app, right?

Well last week, twitter launched a new app that now allows people to share videos.

And thought it’s becoming the new must-have app, it has already caused some controvery.

The app, called “Vine,” allows people to share six-second loop videos with their friends. After it’s launch last Thursday, it skyrocketed to the top of the featured section of the Apple store.

On Monaday, members were given a surprise when they opened the app: a pornographic video in the editors pick.

Twitter later explained it was “human error” that caused the slip-up.

Since the mishap, Apple was forced to remove vine from it’s featured section, the video was removed, and vine had begun the process of filtering out pornographic video by blocking various search terms.

Though the app has already had a significant error, it is still one of the hottest up-and-coming apps.

Once “Vine” weeds through the content issues, I believe it will be a must-have app for smartphone users.
