PHILADELPHIA, P.A. (WKBW) - Jurors in the murder trial of a Philadelphia abortion doctor will continue with their second day of deliberations Wednesday after ending the day before without a verdict.
72-year-old Kermit Gosnell is accused of killing four newborns and a patient by performing illegal abortions.
Prosecuters say Gosnell routinely cut live babies in the back of their necks to sever their spines because he didn't know how to do a proper abortion in utero.
If convicted, Gosnell could face the death penalty.
