The Erie County Sheriff's Office is looking for a white commercial truck with significant front end damage, in connection with a hit-and-run in the Town of Clarence that left 2 kids hospitalized.

The office said it happened just after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Salt and County Roads.

Deputies found two children and their mother inside the car, which had rolled over following the crash. The kids were taken to Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo with non-life-threatening injuries. The mother was treated at the scene.

The truck being sought by the sheriff's office was last seen traveling southbound on Salt Road toward Main Street. It's described as a white box-delivery or white semi-truck with a trailer.

There is a possibility the truck turned onto either Keller or Croop Roads, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or captured it on home surveillance cameras, to call the office at 858-2903.
