Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. and astronauts Mark and Scott Kelly are among those booked to take the stage as part of the University at Buffalo's annual Distinguished Speakers Series.

Actors James Franco and John Cleese, feminism author Roxane Gay and former Facebook marketing director Randi Zuckerberg also are scheduled to appear during the upcoming academic year.

The series begins Sept. 22 with Mark Kelly, who commanded two space shuttle missions, and his twin brother Scott Kelly, who spent a year in space.

Holder, the nation's first black attorney general, will present UB's Martin Luther King Jr. commemoration address on Feb. 16.

Franco is the undergraduate student choice speaker and Gay was the choice of graduate students.
