BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Democrat Tim Kennedy declares victory over Republican Jack Quinn in a close race for the 58th Senate District.

The seat was formerly held by Democrat William Stachowski, who also ran in the race on a minor party line.

As of this posting, Kennedy led Quinn 42-40 percent. Stachowski grabbed 18 percent of the vote.

Quinn did not publicly concede to Kennedy, though Kennedy tells Eyewitness News that Quinn had called him and conceded.
