The attorney representing Dr. Eugene Gosy has confirmed to 7 Eyewitness News that his client is pursuing a new job with Invision Health in Williamsville.
According to Joel Daniels, everything is still “up in the air,” but says he’s confident the change will be worked out.
When 7 Eyewitness News first contacted Invision about the potential move in March, they declined to comment.
This development comes as Dr. Gosy faces 166 counts of unlawfully prescribing controlled substances, which resulted in the deaths of six patients. He has maintained his innocence, saying all the pills he prescribed were for legitimate purposes.
A court date scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled with no word of the next date, according to Daniels.
