Dozens of Western New York schools have closed for Wednesday, as the Winter Storm continues in Western New York.
School superintendents tell 7 Eyewitness News they make the call based on current conditions, and talking to other superintendents in the area.
When there is a State of Emergency, like Governor Cuomo has declared for New York, it usually means schools will be closed for the safety of students and staff.
