A downtown Buffalo restaurant has shut down, seven months after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Oshun, located in the shadow of the Electric Tower at Washington and East Huron, closed its doors after three years in business.

When chef-owner Jim Guarino filed for bankruptcy in October, his attorney said the filing would allow his client to catch up on paying back taxes to the state.

Oshun was located inside the former Howard Shoes location, which sat vacant for years.
