Buffalo police have made an arrest in connection with a suspected domestic related shooting.
The attack happened late Saturday night in the 200 block of Lawn Avenue.
Police say a 22 year old Buffalo male was struck by gunfire while sitting inside his car.
He was taken to Kenmore Mercy Hospital and is in stable condition.
Police arrested 28 year old Dave Thornton and charged him with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Detectives say the defendant is the ex-boyfriend of the victim's girlfriend.
