Erie County Sheriff's Office says it has scaled back its attempts to find a suspect who a woman says stabbed hernear Town Line Lutheran Church in Alden on January 17.
The victim originally told deputies she may have been stalked and was targeted by a white male in his mid-thirties.
The Alden School District was put on lockdown as a result of this incident and ended the school day early.
Detectives and deputies have not received any additional information from the victim, but is asking the anyone else who may have information on the incident to call the Sheriff's office at 858-2903.
