Governor Cuomo unveiled the design for New York's official monument honoring the l-g-b-t-q community.
That monument will be located at the western edge of Greenwich Village in Hudson River Park.
It will also serve as a memorial to all victims of hate and intolerance, including those lost in the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting.
Today's unveilling coincides with the annual pride rally in New York City.
