The Cuba town supervisor is under fire for controversial comments he made on his Facebook page.
Robert Carney is being accused of writing the comments about President Barack Obama in December.

Carney says the comments were made on his personal Facebook page and not intended to be shared with the community.
Many in the community attended the Town Board meeting Tuesday and expressed concern.
"I would hope to never hear that from one of my public officials again," said one man at the meeting.
"I pay your bills, you all don't pay my bills," said another concerned citizen.
"I am not racist," said Carney. "I regret the context of those comments and I regret the language that I used."
Carney apologized to the community. Many asked him to write a formal letter of apology.
Carney says he will not resign.
