A wanted man is in custody after being arrested following a several-month long investigation in Orleans County.
On December 13th, Allen Young, the subject of a narcotics investigation in the Town of Ridgeway, was able to flee the scene in his car, almost striking two task force investigators, police say.
Moments later, the Orleans county dispatch received a 911 call reporting an accident on Marshall road.
When police arrived, they discovered it was Young's vehicle. After the accident, He fled into a large wooded area.
Earlier this month, police received information that Young had returned to the area with a female companion from West Seneca. Police were also given information regarding the vehicle description Young was operating, as well as the out-of-state license plate number.
Police stopped Young's vehicle last Friday around 2 p.m. on the I-90 near Erie, Pa.
He was taken into custody and is being held in the Erie, Pa. County Jail.
Young is wanted on several felony charges and also faces potential federal charges.
As a result of the investigation, police seized over one pound of marijuana and over a pound and a half of methylone, more commonly known as "bath salts."
Police also seized a scale, packaging, and other drug paraphernalia.
