Erie County Sheriff's Arrest Three for Driving While Intoxicated

(WKBW release) According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, three people were arrested on driving while intoxicated charges Sunday and early Monday as a result of traffic stops or auto accidents.

According to news releases from the Erie Country Sheriff's Office:

Ryan Dewitt, 24, of Grand Island was arrested at the scene of a one-vehicle accident on the Route 219 Expressway in the Town of Concord. Dewitt was charged with DWI, Failure to Keep Right, Speed Not Reasonable, Unsafe Lane Change and Refusal to Take a Breath Screening Test. He was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration and Disorderly Conduct stemming from an incident after being taken to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital.

Jacob Runge, 25, of Springville was arrested and charged with DWI, Unsafe Turning and Failure to Use Headlights after being stopped at approximately 2:39 a.m. in the Village of Springville.

Daniel Harris, 25, of Akron was arrested and charged with DWI and Failure to Keep Right after his car reportedly struck a house at the intersection of Mechanic Street and Buell Street in the Village of Akron at approximately 2:20 a.m. Harris suffered minor injuries, according to the news release.
