Police: Suspicious Man Attempted to Lure 10-Year-Old Into Car

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Buffalo Police continue to investigate a report of a suspicious man who they say approached a young girl Monday afternoon after getting off the school bus.

Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. near Jewitt Parkway and Woodward Avenue.

Detectives say the 10-year-old girl had just gotten off the school bus when the man began talking to her from his vehicle
Police say at one point, he asked the young girl to get into his car and said he would drive her home.

Police say that's when the young girl took off.

The suspicious person is described as a white male wearing round wired-rim glasses with shoulder length black hair and wearing a dirty white t-shirt.

The vehicle is described as a 4-door black car with tinted windows.
