(WKBW release) According to a news release issued Monday by the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office, a 21-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, menacing, criminal mischief, unlawful imprisonment and unlawful possession of marijuana in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident last week.
According to the news release issued by the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office:
Michael C. Hill Jr. was arrested following a domestic violence incident on Orchard Street in the Village of Silver Springs on June 6. Hill was alleged to have threatened to kill his girlfriend while slamming a large television set on the floor directly in front of her. Hill also allegedly blocked his girlfriend and young child in the child's bedroom and would not allow them to leave. Hill then allegedly took his girlfriend's phone when she attempted to call for help.
During investigation by the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office, multiple pieces of marijuana paraphernalia were seized from the residence. Hill was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child., Menacing in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Hill was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court where he was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail of $10,000 bond.
