Sheriffs Searching for Adult Novelty Store Armed Robbery Suspect

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WKBW) - Genesee County Sheriffs are searching for the suspect of an armed robbery at an adult novelty store late Wednesday night.

Deputies say the robbery occurred around 11:39 p.m. at the Pandora's Box Novelty Store on Ellicott Street Road in the Town of Batavia. According to authorities, a masked man carrying a sawed-off shotgun, entered the store as the clerk was preparing to close, and demanded money.

The clerk handed the man the contents of the register and he immediately left on foot through the parking lot, running towards Ellicott Street Road.

Deputies describe the man as approximately 5'9'' and 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a camouflage balaclava over his head and dark clothing.
