Police Release Surveillance Photo in Connection with First Niagara Bank Robbery

(WKBW release) Buffalo police are releasing surveillance photos in connection with the Monday afternoon robbery of the First Niagara Bank, located at 47 Court Street.

The incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Police say the individual entered the bank, handed the teller  a note demanding money and then fled after making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-9, large build, wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers cap and a black satin type baseball jacket with "New York" lettering across the chest.
