WHEATFIELD, NY (WKBW-TV) - Niagara County Sheriff deputies are investigating two bomb threats at two local high schools. Police say they received a 911 call around 7:55am that a bomb was placed at both Niagara Wheatfield High School and Niagara Falls High School.
Officials at Niagara Wheatfield made a decision to evacuate the school and the students were taken by bus to Sanborn Volunteer Fire Company.
A search of the building was conducted but nothing was found. Police said the building is safe to return and students were allowed back in around 11:20am.
Sheriff's deputies say any questions surrounding the incident this morning at Niagara Falls High School should call the school directly.
