A Niagara Falls woman is recovering after being shot in the face Sunday night.
Police say the 25-year-old woman was driving on Cedar Avenue near 10th Street around 8 p.m. when she noticed two men in another vehicle who apparently had been involved in a dispute earlier in the day with her boyfriend.
According to police, the woman got out of her vehicle to confront the men, causing one of them to fire three shots at her. One of the bullets grazed the victim's face.
The woman was treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and was released.
Police continue their investigation and are searching for the suspects.
