NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Niagara Falls man is spending his New Year's Day behind bars after police say he was drunk and in possession of two stolen, loaded firearms.
Police say 24-year-old Jackie Berry was stopped for speeding around 2:45 Tuesday morning. Police say Berry was drunk, and was found to be in posession of a stolen, loaded handgun and a loaded Uzi sub-machine gun.
Berry was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Driving While Intoxicated, and other Vehicle and Traffic violations.
Berry is currently being held in the Niagara Falls Police lock up pending arraignment in the City of Niagara Falls Court.
