NEWFANE, N.Y (WKBW) - Two Newfane men were arrested late Thursday night following a Meth Lab bust at one of the men's home.

Niagara County Sheriffs made the arrest a little before 11 p.m. Thursday, They say the arrest was based on a two-month long investigation into drug sales by 32-year-old Dearick Hoefer from his Franklin Street home, as well as several complaints from neighbors in that area.

A hazardous materials response clean up team is working on the site to make it safe, due to the volatile nature of the byproducts used in the manufacture of meth.

Hoefer was charged with Criminal Posession of a Controlled Substance with bail set at $15,000.

In connection to the raid, police also arrested 28-year-old Geoffrey Linderman.

Linderman was charged with Maintaining a Public Nuisance, and was released on $250 bail.

Investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.
