Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Cody Testerman learned his fate after confessing to killing his half-brother, Jesse Seneca.
Testerman was sentenced to 25 years in prison -- but spared life behind bars. He previously pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the First Degree.
Attorneys and family members blame the murder on a twisted love triangle. They say another woman seduced Testerman and convinced him to attack Seneca in July of 2012.
Seneca's body was found on a dirt road off Route 438 on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation.
During the sentencing hearing, family members cried out "why?" Testerman said that he "didn't feel loved by my own family," but called his crime "unforgivable."
