TOWN OF PORTLAND, N.Y. -( release) - The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office arrested a 41-year-old Brocton man Monday and charged him with felony DWI after being pulled over with a child 15 or under in his vehicle.
Jason E. Selig was arrested following a traffic stop after being pulled over for driving across the hazard markings on Route 5 in the Town of Portland.
Authorities allege Selig was found to be impaired by drugs. Selig also had a child in the vehicle, which is a felony under Leandras Law. He will appear in Town of Portland court at a later date.
