Man Accused of Firing Shotgun From 2nd Story Window

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WKBW) New York State Police have arrested a Dunkirk man for allegedly firing a 12 gauge shotgun from a 2nd story window into a yard with children and adults nearby.

Investigators say Alan Will, 30, fired the 12 gauge round on Tuesday at a home on Route 5 in the Town of Dunkirk.

Will was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Reckless Endangerment 1st, 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and an Environmental Conservation Law of Discharging a Firearm within 500 feet of a residence.

Will was arraigned at the Town of Pomfret Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $5000 cash/$10,000 property bond. He is to appear in the Town of Dunkirk Court on September 8, 2014.
