NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WKBW) - The new Niagara Falls chapter of Mad Dads held its weekly meeting Thursday night and urged the suspect in Tuesday's drive-by shooting, which left a toddler seriously injured, to turn himself in.
"This can't keep happening in the community. And it won't keep happening. So that's why we're here to do what we're supposed to do. And that's why the cry is out for him to turn himself in," said Dwayne Ferguson, the organization's president.
J'Raeona Moore, 2, was sitting in a parked car outside a Pierce Avenue convenience store when two bullets struck her in the face.
She is recovering in stable condition at Women & Children's Hospital in Buffalo.
