Lockport Man Charged in String of Burglaries

Lockport, NY (WKBW) The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has wrapped up a residential burglary investigation, arresting 24-year-old Brett M. Holt of the Town of Lockport.

Deputies tell Eyewitness News that Holt was under investigation by the Sheriff's Criminal Division for possible ties to three burglaries in and around the Town of Lockport.

Holt has been charged with four felonies and two misdemeanors: two counts of second-degree burglary, one count of third-degree grand larceny, one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Holt was arraigned Tuesday and taken to the Niagara County Jail. He is being held on $40,000 cash bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at 1 p.m.
