Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - The Buffalo man accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend's five-year-old son and beathing him to death appeared in court on Wednesday morning.
26-year-old Matthew Kuzdzal pleaded not guilty to charges of Murder in the Second Degree and Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child in connection to the death of Eain Brooks last month.
Kuzdzal's attorney, Robert Cutting, says his client gave multiple statements to police, and calls Eain's death a "tragic accident."
Kuzdzal's attorney says his client also firmly denies any sexual assault allegations.
Kuzdzal remains in jail without bail. His attorneys have reserved the right to request bail at a later date.
