ORCHARD PARK, NY (Release) - A three month investigation into the sale of Counterfeit Trademark NFL merchandise was conducted by the NFL, Buffalo Bills, Homeland Security, and the Orchard Park Police Department.
On December 30th 2012 at 1:10 P.M., five search and seizure warrants were executed on Abbott Road and Erie County property located in the vicinity of Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Seized were three cargo style trailers and two trucks used for the sale of counterfeit merchandise, a variety of merchandise, over $5,000.00 in US and Canadian currency, electronic card readers and cell phones.
Arrested in connection with these sales and search warrant executions were the following five individuals:
Kelly Cerrone- Charged with 1 count of Trademark Counterfeiting in the 3rd degree
Kyle Koch- Charged with 1 count of Trademark Counterfeiting in the 3rd degree
Ronald Shattuck- Charged with 1 count of Trademark Counterfeiting in the 3rd degree
Kenneth Smith- Charged with 1 count of Trademark Counterfeiting in the 2rd degree
Joshua Wyskiel- Charged with 1 count of Trademark Counterfeiting in the 2rd degree
Smith and Wyskiel were held, arraigned in Orchard Park Town Court and later released on bail. The other three defendants were released on appearance tickets.
The investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible.
