BUFFALO, NY (WKBW/ release) - Buffalo police continue to investigate just what happened around 3:30 AM Saturday morning, when three people were shot - one fatally, on the city's east side.
Northeast District officers responded to a call of a shooting, and learned that three men were shot while they were outside the Humboldt Inn, at Humboldt Parkway and East Delavan Avenue. All three victims were city residents.
Pronounced dead at the Erie County Medical Center was Kelvin Neal, 31, who was struck multiple times. Wounded were 31 year old Julian Wingard, who was shot in the chest, and Alan Croxie, also 31, who was shot in the foot. Both of the injured men were also taken to ECMC. Croxie has since been released from the hospital.
"One individual is believed to be responsible for shooting all three of the male victims," said Dennis J. Richards, chief of detectives. "There were dozens of people in the vicinity at the time the shots were fired," according to Richards.
