NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WKBW) - New York State Police in Niagara Falls have arrested 36-year-old Chad A. Caudill of North Avenue in Niagara Falls.
Caudill has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, DWAI Drugs, Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, having a controlled substance outside of it’s original container under the Public Health Law and numerous other Vehicle and Traffic Law Violations after Troopers observed him driving without plates on the vehicle and driving on the shoulder of the road.
Upon being stopped, Caudill displayed extreme signs of being impaired, according to police. Further investigation showed that his driver’s license was revoked due to previous Driving While Intoxicated Arrest. Investigation revealed that Caudill had ingested 1.5 Hydrocodone pills and cocaine.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed Caudill to be in possession of 11 Hydrocodone pills and approximately .5 grams of cocaine.
Caudill was taken to Niagara Falls Jail and set to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
