Two men have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance following a raid conducted by Niagara County sheriffs in the Town of Newfane earlier today.
21-year-old James White and 37-year-old Sean Smith were found manufacturing methamphetamine. A loaded .22 caliber handgun was also found during the raid.
White and Smith were arraigned in the Town of Newfane Court and remain in Niagara County Jail. Both are schedules to return to court on January 15Th.
Sheriffs will continue investigation on this case and further criminal charges are pending.
Niagara County Sheriffs have not yet released the location of the raid.
