CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, NY (WKBW/WJLA)- The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office released information about the car Anthony Robert Taglianetti II may be driving.
It's a gold or tan 2003 Buick Century, loaded with camping and survival equipment with Virginia license plate KBU4393.
The plate also has a Marine Corps emblem on it.
Authorities believe Taglianetti was driving that car when he killed 51-year-old Keith Reed of Clymer on Friday.
Investigators say Taglianetti then fled back to Virginia. Taglianetti's neighbor who did not want to be identified says Taglianetti, his wife and four children haven't been seen for days.
Taglianetti's family minivan is still parked outside of his home and his mail is piling up.
"He is an ex-Marine sniper. He seemed very friendly always in the neighborhood talking to everybody. I would see them at church sometimes the kids play out here all the time. Honestly you just never expect it to be so close to home. You just lock up tight and wait for things to be done," said the neighbor.
Deputies from Chautauqua County arrived in Virginia Thursday and are teaming up with law enforcement officials there.
They are staying at least throughout the weekend and/or until Taglianetti is apprehended.
Taglianetti goes by "Rob", according to investigators and is the only suspect in the case.
Taglianetti and Reed did know of each other but authorities won't say how or give any information about a motive.
