DWI Arrest Made in Marilla Following Single-Vehicle Accident

MARILLA, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Marilla man became the 148th person to be arrested for DWI this year by Erie County Sheriffs

Deputies responded to a report of a single motor vehicle accident on Clinton Street in the Town of Marilla Friday night. The officer found the driver, 22 year-old Zachary Wyzykowski, to be intoxicated.

Wyzykowski was taken into custody and transported to the Erie County Sheriff's Elma Substation where he was administered a chemical breath test. Wyzykowski's blood alcohol content was a .11%.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and several other vehicle and traffic violations and was released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Marilla Court at a future date.
