Crime Stoppers Niagara Offering Reward For Information Leading to Arrest

PORT COLBORNE (WKBW) - Niagara Regional Police are searching for a man who reportedly attempted to grab a child.

Police say on Saturday at approximately 3:00 p.m., a male in a red, mid sized pick up truck approached a group of children near the intersection of Lake Road and Fares Street in the City of Port Colborne.

It was reported that the lone male driver reached out, and attempted to grab one of the children.

The male is described as white, over 40 years of age, balding, blond/grey hair, with a long blond/grey beard, at the time he was wearing a red checkered shirt. The vehicle left the area at a high rate of speed.

The male did not make any contact with any of the children.
