WEST ELLICOTT, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Sinclairville man was arrested early Saturday morning on multiple drug charges.

New York State Police say 22-year-old Ashley Miller and 34-year-old Erik Nollinger, both of Sinclairville, drove through a road check on Route 394 in West Ellicott. While troopers were speaking to Miller, they could smell marijuana from inside the vehicle.

Miller was removed from the vehicle, searched, and found to be in possession of partially smoked marijuana cigarettes and a jar containing a small amount of marijuana.

Troopers searched the vehicle and located 50 grams of marijuana in the center console, a box containing 236 grams of marijuana on the rear seat, a digital scale, numerous baggies, and 1.2 ounces of concentrated cannabis.

Nollinger admitted ownership of the contraband inside the vehicle and was subsequently arrested for fourth degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, fifth degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, third degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana, and second degree Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

Miller was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and issued her an appearance ticket for the Town of Ellicott Court.

Nollinger was then transported to SP Jamestown where he was processed, arraigned in the Town of Ellicott Court, and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
