BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW / release )The Buffalo Police Accident Investigation Unit has arrested an 18 year old Buffalo man in connection with a Christmas Eve incident at a downtown
Investigators arrested 18 year old Richard Booze, Jr., and charged him with multiple counts of Assault in the 2nd Degree, multiple counts of Reckless Endangerment and Leaving the Scene of an Accident without Reporting it.
Police say at approximately 1:30AM Christmas Eve morning, Booze, while driving his Chevrolet Cobalt, intentionally caused injury to thee
individuals in the Augsburger Ramp on Pearl Street and then fled in his vehicle.
The three individuals who were struck, 2 females and 1 male, suffered
various injuries. They were transported to ECMC where they were treated.
Accident Investigator Martin Forero was the arresting officer. He was
assisted by other members of the Accident Investigation Unit and the Erie County District Attorney's office.
