Buffalo Man Charged with Second Degree Murder After Fire

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) 19 year-old David Meyers of Buffalo has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of a man in a house fire last Tuesday.

Meyers is being indited with the death of 52 year-old Brian Dombek, who was discovered in the rubble at his home on Sirret Street, along with his dog.

An autopsy conducted by the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office revealed the victim had died as a result of blunt force trauma.

Buffalo Fire Department investigators determined the fire had been intentionally set.

Police also confirmed that the suspect and victim were acquaintances.
