BOSTON, NY (WKBW-TV) - A Boston mother searching for her children at the local library is now facing charges.
New York State Police say Julie Turner, 41, couldn't find her kids and went to the Boston Free Library hoping they were there.
Police say they were called to the library to assist a woman who couldn't find her children.
When Troopers arrived they say Turner had already left and as she was leaving Troopers say she hit the building. She returned to the library where Troopers questioned her and determined she was intoxicated.
The Trooper took Turner home, where she received a text message from her children that they were at a neighbor's house. After check that the children were safe, Turner was arrested for driving while intoxicated, refusing a breath test and speeding.
Turner will appear in a Town of Boston court at a later date.
