BUFFALO, NY ( release ) Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that Sgt. Daniel Dytchkowskyj and Dep. Joseph Raczynski from the sheriff’s Accident Investigation Unit arrested Bradley Maloney, from the Village of Blasdell, NY, for Vehicular Manslaughter, in the second degree, Vehicular Assault, in the second degree and two counts of DWI.
The investigation continues into the crash of Maloney’s vehicle on Versailles Plank Road., on the Seneca Nations of Indians territory in the early morning hours of January 28, 2012.
The crash resulted in the death of 14 year old Angela M. Keim, of Hamburg, NY, and caused serious physical injury to 13 year old Elizabeth Szewczyk, who remains in critical condition at Women’s and Childrens’ Hospital.
Keim was killed when Maloney’s vehicle exited the roadway whereby she was ejected from the vehicle, along with Szewczyk.
Since obtaining a toxicology report from a sample of Maloney’s blood, which resulted in a .10 BAC, and conferring with the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, Maloney was charged and arraigned, in Town of Brant Court, on Thursday, February 9, 2012.
Maloney is due back in court, later this month.
