AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) There are still no leads in the bank robbery at Bank of America on Main Street in Amherst back on April 17th.
The Amherst Police Department is searching for the suspect who entered the bank at 1:15 p.m. and used a note to demand cash from a teller. He ran out of the bank and eastbound on Main Street with an unknown amount of cash. Officers canvassed the area, but did not dredge up any leads.
The suspect is described as a man in his early 30s, standing approximately 5' 10" and weighing roughly 200 pounds. He has a goatee and was wearing a Boston Red Sox baseball cap.
