Amherst, NY (WKBW) - The Town of Amherst Police Department is investigating a home invasion at The Villas on Rensch Apartment complex, where a 21-year-old Lackawanna man was visiting his brother at 2103 West Villas Drive.

Expecting a friend to come over, the younger brother answered the door around ten in the evening. Police say two armed men forced their way into the home, demanding money from the victims.

One of the victims escaped through a window and called police. The suspects pistol whipped the second victim. He was taken to ECMC with lacerations to the head.

Police are looking for two African American males. One was 5'9" and weighed 170 lbs. The other was 5'7" and 160 lbs. Both suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and dark pants. One sweatshirt was black and grey. The other was blue and grey.

Anyone with information should call the Town of Amherst Police at 716-689-1311.
