Apartment complex in Amherst, where a 3-year-old toddler was found dead on Saturday. Police are investigating.

AMHERST, NY (WKBW-TV) - The Erie County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled the death of 3-year-old Mayouna Smith has been ruled a homicide with the cause of death blunt force trauma.

Smith's body was found unresponsive in a home on Allenhurst Road last weekend. A one-year-old boy found inside the home is now in the care of relatives.
