BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) The Erie County Sheriff's Department say they have caught the man responsible for a string of burglaries in the Southtowns.
Monday, deputies arrested 28 year old Ryann Skiver of Concord and charged him with seven felonies including grand larceny, burglary and two misdemeanors.
Investigators say Skiver is a suspect in a string of thefts in the towns of Colden and Holland dating back to April 2014.
Police say Skiver stole credit cards, tools, medical equipment, prescription drugs, cell phones, laptops and personal documents with confidential data.
Skiver is currently being held at the Erie County Holding Center on $35,000 bail and his next court date in August 7.
Sheriff's deputies don't think Skiver acted alone. 28 year old Charles Hecht of Gowanda, has a warrant issued for his arrest in connection to the burglaries. Hecht is being sought on four felony and two misdemeanor charges.
The New York State Police and Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office also suspect Skiver and Hecht in series of other incidents throughout the region.
